Such a tease...and a new kit!

Brrr! Hello! Brrr! from the frigid North East! The older I get the less and less I like Winter! Seems I spend more and more time finding clothes to layer to try to keep warm and end up looking like Nanook of the North!

Memberships will be closing soon...February 1st is the last day. Just thought I would give you a sneak peak at what is sitting on my hard drive! So, if you are not a member yet...just take a look at what you will be missing! I know, I know, I am a meanie! But, I just LOVE to tease! Just a sampling of some quickpages and previews and stuff that are either finished or almost finished! See anything you like?

I am getting lots of questions about purchasing the retired kits. I AM working on it. Hopefully, in February you will be able to start to pick up some of the older kits. The most requested? Good Night Moon, You are my Sunshine and Fairy of Toothland. So, those will probably be the first to be set up!

I have been busy between the vets and my doctors. I took Lola to the vet. She has never seemed to gain any weight even though she eats like a horse and her poop?...let's just say, it can clear a room! She is a strange cat, her teeth are a little wonky in her mouth, she does not meow but kinda says "ack" instead and her back legs are pigeoned toed. Not real affectionate, does not like to be held but loves to be petted. Anyway, I have tried every cat food on the market and have even poached chicken and fish for her and nothing seems to help. Finally, resorted to taking her to the vet since DS can now pay the bill! Seems she has a congenital defect in her small intestine that prevents her from absorbing nutrients the way she should. Of course, this is all from deduction since without doing surgery to biopsy, it is impossible to know for sure but considering the symptoms, this is what he thinks. So, now she is on a prescribed cat food, a med for diarrhea and maybe put on some pancreatic enzymes. The girl that found her and then talked my son into taking her was never clear about where she found her. The vet feels that the mother cat probably abandoned her knowing she was not healthy. But, she is ours now and as long as she is not suffering and DS can afford the food...as the vet said, this is nothing that will kill her but she will just never be a big cat. The kitten already weighs more than Lola.. 6 lbs is a little small for an adult cat!

Then, I had my physical...something we all love to do, right? The usual, need blood work, mammo, colonoscopy, a trip to the cardiologist since my palpitations are acting up again, new BP meds, a lecture on smoking and losing weight, a trip to the endocrinologist because my thyroid as finally up and joined the other side and, I had to laugh at this one...reduce some of the stress in my life! Ummmmm...working on that one! Golden years, my patootey!

And, people wonder why I spend so much time on the computer!

Enough about me...want a new kit? I do love the color and the Victorian feel of this kit. As always, not everything is in the previews.

Sorry...no longer available

And the Sampler...

Many sympathies on the sick kitty. Two of our five have to eat special food. Makes life interesting I guess. Take care of yourself as well.

Thanks, Jan - this is a lovely kit!

I have a cat a lot like the one you are describing. She weighs almost 6 pounds, looks skinny, but does not look her age - she will be 19 this July (really!). This baby throws up her food - feed her & she throws up - I have been cleaning up her messes for a long, long, time, but we have found that if we feed her tiny bits several times a day, she is much, much, better. She chooses when she wants to be friendly (was that a can of food opening?) but when she decides it's time for her to be petted - plan on it, LOL! She is my sweetie girl, and I wouldn't trade these years with her for anything.

Again - thanks for all the wonderful kits!

Oh my, thanks from the bottom of my heart. I have been waiting and waiting for a romantic kit with a more adult feel. So I hope more in different colors are in the working. "HINT! HINT!" I have left over photos from my daughter's wedding over 6 yrs ago and my eldest grand from last year. So this is a fabulous started. I love the colors and of course your fantastic patterns that are among the best. Love the choice in name, albeit there are no Emilies within my family. You have really lifted me up with this kit download and fulfilled a great wish. I realize Valentine is next month, so look forward to other colors as well. YEAH! with the previews. Leavin LUV! XOXOXO
