A new Kit and some chat

I will be sending out a mailing today using the complete list as of noon today, if you do not get it, please let me know...it will have New Kit at JanniScraps in the subject line.

So, how have y'all been? Miss chatting just about "stuff" with you! So. let's see, what's new...

Went out to lunch with 2 friends on Wednesday and then took a little side trip to the Christmas Tree Shop. I got 5 8x8 albums for less than $20! One of them was for cats so now I have to re-do the pages that I had done for the album that I am doing for my daughter and Lily! The others were more generic but really nice quality so I will just keep them just in case! Neither one of them are scrappers so they could not understand why I was so excited!

DS went for his "interview" basically just to meet the guys he would be working with. He is thrilled and it is so good to see him back to his old self! He will be done with classes on the 26th and will be home that weekend. Now, I have to clean out all the stuff that I have been storing in his room to make room for ALL the stuff he is bringing home!

Am getting lots of suggestions for kits...now, I can't make any guarantees but I do read each one! Also, I will be posting a poll with some of the older kits on it and will bring back one each month based on popular demand so if there is one that you are interested in, let me know. Just scroll through the old posts and you will see previews.

I have a new kit for you today! Nature Walk is for the men in your scrap life! There 7 files, I tried to keep them at a reasonable size for those of you on dial-up. There are 2 files, a pine cone and a feather that you can make into brushes if you wish or leave as pngs and recolor. Again, each element is it's own file so there is no cropping.

And I think I have found a way around the computer generated freebie lists listing the wrong preview. The sampler for non-members will be posted last since according to their sites it will mostly grab the last image posted. Let's see if it works. After all the work, the freebie searchers do, I hate to just ask them not to post my blog. I really do not know how they find the time to find as many freebies as they do. Hats off to them! And, saying thanks!

So, here are the previews.....

The previews do not show everything included. And, some quickpages for you.

Sorry, I have been up for 3 months so I have been removed.

The sampler for non-members....

Sorry, I have been up for 3 months so I have been removed.

You are definitely having fun as you design these lovely kits. Allright with the embossing of the cone that definitely adds depth to the design. All those beautiful patterns together in one kit raises the level of your designs beyond compare.
(Now to hold down my youngest son so that I can get his wife to take his pictures.) All I have of him are older Navy photos. Whether indoor or out, this kit is the perfect solution. I really appreciate the option to make brushes within this kit. You really go beyond expectations in everything you design for us. I can feel the LUV!! as it radiates throughout your membership clan. Thank you for this download. It is said with heart-filled adoration for you as a woman, Mother, Mate, friend, and designer. "Our Designer Angel Here On Earth."

I would like you to bring back the Quickpage Album you had for Christmas last year. I wasn't around then, but would love to have it.

Natures Walk is wonderful!

Since you will be giving out kits all at once instead of a little at a time, I am going to start leaving my comments here instead of on 4shared. First, I would like to say...I LOVE the tags and straps! Those are sooo cute! You have such an imagination when it comes to making kits! We have several pictures of nature walks that most brightly colored kits wont work for! This is going to be perfect for those pictures! Thanks so much!

I love nature graphics...Thank You so very much...;o)

We returned on Thurs.from my cousin's son's funeral...it was befitting a hero and a great comfort to my cousin & wife. Over 30 Patriot Guard Riders...over 100 cars in procession to cemetery...police stopping all traffic...any Detroiters will know what a back-up 100 cars would cause on Telegraph and Woodward, etc. It was an honor to be there and my dear 1st cousin once removed who loved being in the military so much must have been looking on with a giant smile.

One sentence in tribute totally touched me...a challenge to ask myself..."was I worth dying for?"

First off, THANK YOU for making these RAR files. They're smaller, and more compact, and therefore, download more quickly. I appreciate that a LOT. I am going to ask this...even though I shouldn't... is there ANY way you could make fewer downloads for those of us who are not on dial up? One of the reasons I buy the fastest internet I can is so I don't have to sit here forever waiting for things to download. I understand 4shared is part of the problem, since you can't package anything up that's over 50MB (which I assume they do to keep people from sharing programs as easily), but I'd much rather download two-three 50 MB zips than 7 15 MB zips. Well, like I said, I hate to ask... you have my permission to ignore. I would NOT ask if it wasn't important to me. I just find myself with less and less time these days, because I am desperately trying to get some sort of business off the ground (and it's NOT going well, lemme tell you. I'm seriously re-considering trying to sell on Ebay! And for some reason, that thought frightens me...) I'd just love it if I could spend less time baby-sitting downloads, that's all. I get so little computer time as it is...however, I don't want to put you to a bunch of work, either.

On another note, I LOVE this kit. I just scrapped DH earlier using Sindiego's Dad's Ties kit, and I could see these two kits going together very nicely. I need more pics of DH though...all the pics I have seem to be of the kids (and ESPECIALLY the baby, lol...who turns 1 on the 21st! Wah! Why do they have to grow up so FAST???)

p.s. I know for DigiFree, that she collects her freebies using a computer program. She's an artificial intelligence specialist, and basically what that means is she programs computers to think more intuitively, like a human... so basically this program searches ALL the freebie sites for key words like freebie, download...etc. Then it flags them... she has a look, and lists it if there's a freebie there. She uses the last image, because in her experience, that's usually the freebie image. And of course, because of the way she designed it, in a way it becomes fulfilling, because the designers who didn't put their freebies last, do now, to get it to show up correctly on digifree. Interesting how that happens!
I suspect she also uses a computer to leave her comment, because it's always the same comment on each blog, and she leaves it on at LEAST 25 blogs a day...that's a LOT. (I wonder if she also uses a computer, known as a "robot" to collect the freebies? She doesn't say, but it IS her area of expertise!)

So glad that your DS is looking forward to a wonderful new adventure in life. As for clearing the room, to make room for new "stuff" I just have to giggle. There always seems to be more stuff then room for it. LOL
I have downloaded the members kits and love them both!! They are fabulous, but I knew they would be anyway. Now, there is always one in the crowd, and I guess I am it..LOL. You know the wonderful chain and tags you made for the papers preview. I think that would make a wonderful extra piece to the kit, and was just wondering if you would share it too. Again, there is always one in the crowd, and I guess it's me. ROFL ROFL.
Thank you again, I love it all.

Glad to know you find a bargain, I don't know much about prizes in America but by the way you tell it they were a real bargain. :) Have a great time working with them. :)
