Feels like a Monday!

Quick post today since I will be gone most of tomorrow, I need to get a bunch of stuff done today!

My daughter and I are going to Boston tomorrow for the Tim McGraw/Faith ill Concert and we are going up early to make the most of the day! This was my Mother's Day/Birthday gift so I am so excited. Not looking forward to the long ride since the vibration does not do good things to my back but that is what they make pain meds for! She has heated seats so it helps some...yes, I use them even in the summer! Anytime I am riding in the car for long periods, I turn them on and get some heat to my back. Just a little tip for you gals that have bad backs! They don't get so hot that you are sweating but just enough to lessen the effects of the ride!

With the weather, we had an indoor picnic yesterday! Still yummy and still fun so the weather, as much as it tried, did not hamper the fun! My friend had her last radiation treatment on Tuesday and they removed the mammosite. Now, she will have to be on the Tamoxiphen (sp?) for 5 years but they are VERY optimistic that she will be fine. She is wondering if she will ever get her energy back since these treatments really wiped her out but considering the alternative...she said she will take as many naps as needed! Still having problems with her son and the drugs but, praying that he is making progress. Sometimes it can be a very slow road when you are trying to make a teenager see the light!
Not much else to chat about, so I will just leave you with another download for Camo, Lace and Bling.....

Download no longer available...sorry!

Thanks for another great addiion to my scrapbook collection, very pretty frames.
Thanks also for the heated seat hint for the back pains. Have never used it in the warm months; however, can see the advantage.
Enjoy your day, I'm sure it will be spectacular.

Hope you have a great time at the concert, and thanks for the tip, although saddly my car doesn't have heated seats, lol.
Still sending up prayers for your friend and her family, and sorry the angels will be sent shortly, I haven't been well myself.
Sending hugs, Lisa

So glad to hear about the Oncology treatment of your dear friend & her future prognosis which are good. So sad when our children have problems especially associated with the word drugs. I know her heart is in so much pain because of this. She really doesn't need this because of her physical well being. We can only pray to support her as you have been & will continue to do.

I use my heating pad all year long. I know exactly what you are talking about. Plus, I have motion sickness as an addition. My heat pads that were ordered by my Orthopedic dr have various shapes to fit various parts. My neck is round, my back is rectangular & fits my entire back with an extension for under my knees & legs. Oh my, as I read this it makes me realize how messed up my body really is. I wonder what it would have been like if I had abused it while growing up. So have a fun time @ the show. So glad you were able to have those tickets. I know the performance will fill your every desire.

Thanks for part 3 of our fun kit with all that bling. Love the addition of the jewelry to the ribbon as it encircles the frames & on the edges of other. Fabulous Indeed. This will be my 1st kit to download that has this much fun bling. Leavin LUV!! XOXOXO

Thanks so much. This kit is really great. Now I just have to pinned my DGD down so I have pics to scrap with it. She doesn't like the camera these days.
