Why won't Blogger let me post a title? Anyway......

All I can say is.....WOW! What a GREAT Concert!

We had amazing seats...not on the floor but in the 4 row of the next section so we were about eye level with the stage plus they had a runway type thingy that came out the length of the row on the floor so there were times when we were about 30 feet from Tim and Faith! He is just SOOOOOOO cute and she truly is a beautiful lady!

They came on the stage a little after 8PM and sang until 11:45PM! Their opening was Lori McKenna, who is from the Boston area and she has written a few songs for Faith Hill (Fireflies and Stealing Kisses) who was also great.

We got up there early and had dinner at a place called The Fours (which says it was voted "America's Number 1 Sports Bar " by Sports Illustrated) and the food was delicious and reasonable. Then we just got to walk around a bit and people watch! I have to admit, people watching is one of my favorite things to do. We didn't wander too far since the North End of Boston is not a section that I am too familiar with. I had gone to school in Boston for a couple of years but mainly stayed in the Back Bay/Kenmore Square area. But, that was a long time ago and, my God! Things have really changed quite a bit! You know you are getting old when you think back on things that you did and it seems like you are looking at someone else's life and not your own! It made me miss some of the people I knew back then and wish that I had keep in touch with them. Spent a lot of the time driving home wondering where they were and what they were doing.

Poor DD was exhausted when we got home from the driving. The ride up was pretty heavy traffic-wise and not a relaxing drive. We very nearly were run into the concrete divider right outside of Boston when a truck decided to get into the left lane cutting in front of us! I thought for sure we were either going to be slammed by him or by a car behind us when she had to slam on the breaks. Then, this jerk flipped US the bird! I tell ya, saw my life flash before me for a second there! Coming home, once we got on the highway, there was very little traffic but by that time she was pooped so it seemed like a very long drive. We didn't get home until 2:30AM and she is still sleeping and I am going to let her sleep as long as she wants...she earned it!

Ally...I am envious of you...enjoy the concert when you see them...I wish I was going to be there because I would gladly go to their concert again. Kinda wished they sang a little more of the traditional Country stuff but they were still so wonderful and entertaining that it really didn't matter.

Lise...you are too funny! NO bra throwing for this old broad! Picture Maxine ripping off hers and tossing it on the stage...yep...not a mental picture that anyone should see! LMAO! Are you feeling better?

Officer Goodbady says he had a great time will y'all but that he is plum tuckered out! What did you gals do to him??? never mind...don't think I want to know. Grambie...is he the reason you needed those treatments? Hope you are feeling better. Not being able to breathe and catch your breath is terrifying. Saying some prayers that you are better and will not have to go through more of those episodes!

Today, I have some assorted stuffies for you and a wallpaper. If your girls have their own computer, maybe they would like a wallpaper of their own! Enjoy!

Download no longer available...sorry!

lmbo, oh my I knew that comment would make you laugh, hense me writing it, lol.
Not feeling much better, sorry to say, but it's just back problems, I'm used to getting them, problem is I'm allergic to certain meds, so I can only take ibprofen for the pain, which doesn't do much.
Thanks for asking.
Glad the concert went well, sorry the drive home was so scary, we've had experiances like that, had a trucker run us right off the highway. Thank God there was this large grassy hill we were able to pull up on or we would have been dead. They think they own the road, some of them.
Glad you're both ok
Hugs, Lisa

Ooooh...the concert sounds like it was awesome!! Sorry the drive there was an enjoyable one. I've experienced (ALL TO OFTEN) truckers running us off the road.

Thanks for the freebies!! I've been away for a few days and think I'm now caught up with all of the Camo Lace & Bling so far!!

Glad you had a wonderful time at the concert. Sounds like the seats were good. From the traffic situation I'm glad you and dd are back home in one piece. Rest up. Teresa

Sounds like you had a close call with that truck! I hate heavy traffic, I feel for your daughter. So glad you enjoyed the concert! I'm still laughing at the flinging the bra! I'm with you on the Maxine thing!

Thanks for another great piece to the kit!!

Glad that you had a great time during the 4th of July celebrations and during the concert. :) Sorry about the traffic coming back home. Sometimes driving becomes a terrible experience. :(

It's good to read that your friend had finished her chemotherapy treatment and her prospects are fantastic. I would be perfect if she finally has success in her son's situation. I'd be the best end to a horrible series of events in her life.

The Camo kit is wonderful, thanks so much for sharing all the new parts with us.:)

Have a great weekend and best wishes.:O)

Surprise to see you here after the concert. I expected you to be MIA after all of that traveling & enjoyment. Thanks for the kind note of thoughts. I am breathing much better & they have upped my Advair again. Each time they take it back as directed, then I have bad episodes & have to go back up. Could always be worse, no coverage.

Now, I was wondering if you had a specific bra to wave like a flag at the concert. If I try to wave mine, the wind will fill it up and it will fly away like a blimp. So glad you both had a chance to enjoy. Your dd I know is worn out from all the excitement to add to the incompetent drivers you met along the way.
Love the jeweled tag cluster and I will definitely use it for my granddaughter even though she is not in her teens. I know she will love it just as much or even more. She adore pretty things. Love your ribbon movement as the miniatures so elegantly hang at their best exsposure. Leavin LUV! XOXOXO

The board was doing that to me all day yesterday too. It did let me go back and edit it and add it later? It started out in the title and I had to use the "end" key and backspace and then start over to put one in.

Sounds like you had a lot of fun, and definitely high excitement. Good to hear that everyone is home safe and sound.
