A little late today...

Just heard from my friend's hubby and it looks like her lumpectomy went well. The lymph nodes looked clear with the preliminary biopsy and so did the margins so that is such great news! I have been on pins and needles all day and just about to crawl out of my skin when he called...I don't think I have heard his voice sound so light and giddy in such a long time! I so hope that this is the turn around point for this family!

Seems like everyone we know is falling apart! Old age is creeping up on all of us! My other good friend that had her knee replaced is still in quite a bit of pain but I really think she has probably pushed it too much! She is not the type that can stay sitting for more than 20 minutes at a time. Her husband in going in on Tuesday for a cervical fusion. I think we need to start looking around for an old age home where we can just have a whole wing to ourselves!

Remind me again why they call these the GOLDEN years!?!?!? LOL!

Well, we had another episode of "Cops" on our street last night! Really, I DO NOT live in a bad part of town! I was sitting in bed last night with the lights off, watching TV, and all of a sudden I heard somebody yelling and then someone with a flashlight came running down our driveway! I got up and looked out the window to see 4-5 cops running around the neighborhood with flashlights and yelling about which way did he go and then finally, we got him, sarge! I had not heard any sirens but when I looked out the front door (yes, I am that nosey) there were 2 cop cars parked across the street. So, I am thinking that someone was trying to break in and they responded silently! I am beginning to feel like I am living a reality TV show! We bought this house 21 years ago since it was a nice 2 family, my parents could live upstairs and not have any maintenance, nice neighborhood, and a quiet one-way street! Hmph!

So on to the new kit "You've Got "Male". (Grambie....so glad you are still thinking just a wee bit on the steamy side!) I found a screw the other day on the counter while I was chatting on the phone and sometimes I can't look at something with out thinking "how would you make this with PSP!" It is an addiction, yes! And, that is what started this kit! Always looking for something for the guys and I was having so much trouble doing the LO's for my cousin's husband so I had him in mind also!

Today, FRAMES! There are 3 separate types...clipboard frames (which I love how they turned out!), frames with a little plaque that you can personalize, and since he is a Mr. Fix-it, some broken "repaired" frames. Hope you enjoy! (they are all in one file)

Download no longer available...sorry!

Looks like I am here first aqain. Do you think I check your site alot..LOL. I am so glad to hear your friends biopsy is so very possitive. I know your sound relieved in your type here. As for old age and the golden years. I am starting in them now..hubby is officially retired the end of this month, and I am raising to grandkids. Guess that should help keep us young. oh my..but fear strikes at the idea of the teen years again. Give me Strength.
Anyway...sorry about the drama on the street.
As for the new kit..waaawhOOOO....something to use for the grandsons pics. Although he hates the camera, and makes goofy faces as soon as he sees it.
Thank you!!!! again..

That must have been really exciting waking up to a cops episode in your own yard! About 15 yrs ago I woke up when police helicopters with search lights were shining down into our yard. Apparently a prisoner from the jail across town was taking a shortcut through our neighborhood. Yikes! Thanks for thinking of the guys - great frames!

It's nice to hear that everything went well with your friend's surgery. :) I hope that you, her and her family can relax a bit now and that everything goes well. That things are really a break forward for them a new good beginning . :)

The things you tell about your neighbourhood are things that occasionally happen in other places. There are periods of time when things everywhere tend to get rough. I know that after what happened to your neighbour Danny the feeling around might not be good in the area, and wish that everything will go back to some kind of normality there.

Thanks a million for the new part of the kit, it's wonderful :) and best wishes. :o)

Golden Years! Ha - what a joke! Takes longer to get going in the morning and I'm in bed arlier and earlier every night! LOL

4Shared appears to be having troubles tonight - I am not able to download anything from any site. Hope it gets fixed soon.

Awesome frames! The ones that were "fixed" looks just like my hubby's work! LOL! Any hopes that the neighborhood could get cleaned up and the "trash" persuaded to leave without anyone ending up in stripes along with them? So glad to hear the good news on your friend! Thank God! :}{:

Great Frames! I especially love the clipboards. Good job with making the whole thing a frame so it is easy to put a pic behind and still make it look like it is under the clip.

I am not so sure they are Golden years. LOL I had my hip replaced a year ago and thought everything would be great and now I am facing a knee replacement. The bone surgeries are not fun.
I am thrilled to hear your friend got such a good report. I can tell you are too.
My best friend lost her mother this week so it has been a sad time for us.
