And "Old Glory" passes by.....

Well, this is it...the end...now it is all up to you to scrap away! This has been fun. I loved doing this kit and I am so glad that you seemed to enjoy it too! The comments were not just comments, they were more than that. Loved hearing from so many about how you were going to use this kit. Both Anita and I were blown away by your response and your comments!

The storm has gone and there are still plenty without power. Some areas got hit pretty hard all around where I am and in other parts of the state. Now they are trying to decide were they tornadoes or micro bursts...not sure if the people who are without power or had their property damaged really care what the experts are calling them or not! Some schools were closed for today and will be closed tomorrow because of the power thing but it all seems like small potatoes compared to the destruction other parts of the country suffer when they get hit. Just that New England is not really known for tornadoes or earthquakes and now we are having both from time to time...nothing major but it doesn't take much to shake these stodgy New Englanders! LOL!

Okay...well...let's get to the end of Old Glory....I have some quickpages for you. And let me tell you it was hard stopping at just 5! And, it is a good thing that I didn't have Anita's part when I was doing them otherwise there would have been about 10 more! I have to agree...there are so many parts to this kit that it is hard to pick what to use! LOL! Well, there are worse things in life than facing THAT dilemma!

Download no longer available...sorry!

(Again, there is ONE folder with TWO files, make sure you grab them both!)

And, don't worry Anita and I will do another kit together again...you haven't seen the last of these "2 ol' Biddies" or of "Lucy and Ethel". Again, thanks for all your support!

Wow, the quickpages are great! I agree, it's hard to decide which pieces to use first! Thanks so much for sharing.
I agree, it doe3sn't much matter whether they were tornadoes or microbursts, they are devestating. I live in Kansas and we have more than our share if you New Englanders want some!
Thanks again for the beautiful kit!

Thank You!! This kit is wonderful, and although I am not American, I can see a lot of uses for this kit. Actually, very few pieces are strictly USA, so I will be able to use a lot of it!!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to the two Angel Darlings who have created and presented us with this SUPER kit...;o)

I have a cousin's son in IRAQ...my Dad & DH were in WWII...favorite BIL was in Korea. I have a deep affection and appreciation for our military and their families...we also have a Navy officer daughter- retired...;o)

I returned from a couple days in the hospital today and must get to bed soon...so I'm posting this note on Anita's blog also.

Good news and a puzzle...I've had chest pain in the heart area for more than a week...in March I had 3 common heart tests because I have a valve problem...has remained steady for 7 years...;o) This pain is new...had a heart cath today and all is just fine...so what is causing my pain...I'll find out soon if there will be more tests...but I was so relieved today...then tonight I find 3 days of Old Glory that I had missed...talk about cheering a girl up!!! You 2 gals are two of the joys of my life...;o)

While I struggle & sweat profusely with the simple task of arranging the elements in my folders in an aesthetically pleasing manner, you ladies turn out fantastic creations with seemingly little effort that makes it easy for one to imagine that you languish on your lounge in the shade, sipping a tall (exotically flavored, of course) iced tea, thinking nothing of the task ahead until at the very LAST nano second, you nonchallantly "twitch" your kits into existence.
Yes, I bow to the "Pied Pipers of Scrap" who will always have a following of those of us who will have to resolve ourselves to the fact that our title will never be more than "Miss Congeniality" in this digital realm and simply live vicariously through you.
Seriously though, you ladies are wonderful......thank you!

Whoooooooooa....Jannidee...THE Jannidee, "Digital Diva Extraordanaire" has spoken DIRECTLY to ME!
(I'm gonna need a new chair)
Funny, it just never occurred to me that there was a possiblity of someone...anyone reading my blog so, when I read you had gone to my blog, my heart went into my throat. Upon further reading I find you complimenting MY layouts! (what??? mine?!?)
I then clicked on my "profile", thinking that I must have accidentally entered the wrong URL, only to find that it did indeed lead to my blog. (go figure)
I couldn't believe it when I found that I had COMMENTS there; some from a couple of months ago. lol
About those rainbow freckles, I'm going to assume you've been responsible & spread the word re: the seriousness of untrained endeavors. Yes?

aaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwww...Thank you so much for taking the time for an email...I really appreciate your thoughtfulness...;o)

I do try to be a good patient...after the heart cath I have been told not to exercise for 2-3 days...well, of course, 3 days it is...LOL. My notes from the nurses actually said to sleep or watch TV...being on the PC calls for the same body position as TV...and we both know which is more fun!!!

Thanks again, Sugar...here's my addy...
