Oh, what a beautiful morning!

Although it is afternoon, now! I got up and took my coffee outside and enjoyed the sun and birds and thought about how much work there was to do inside and out and said " The heck with it!" and just sat and enjoyed! Getting to the age when I realize, very few appreciate a clean house...as long as they can walk through it and find what they want, they do not notice the little dust in the corners and such!

Spent a rather strange evening last night with my daughter. She started off asking if I had a "design of kinda a scrolly claddagh with shamrocks". She was a little shocked when I asked her, why are you trying to come up with a tattoo? She thought I would be very against it but as long as it is not in a place where others can see it on a daily basis and it is tasteful, I don't have a problem with it. when I was younger, I always wanted to get a little rosebud on my boob. but after working in nursing and with the geriatric crowd, I thought about how that little rosebud would someday probably stretch to be a long stem rose, I changed my mind! I could just imaging those nurses and nurses aides saying, " what was this old lady thinking????" Anyway, my DH will probably have a lot to say about it but then again my daughter has him wrapped right around her little finger and will do what she wants anyway. So we sat down and designed her tattoo! She wants it on her lower back and about 4 inches wide so it is not like she will look like a biker chick. I love tattoos as long as you are not covered with them. I watch Inked Miami Ink on TV and think about getting one a lot so this did not come as a big shock to me!

Today, the download (and I think I did this one right!) is some misc. elements and journaling blocks.

Download no longer available...sorry!

Elaine, I believed, asked if we were going to do an exchange for this kit......whoa! Have we really unleashed the monster in you all? I think Diana and I need to recover a little from the one that is still going on!

Remember, tomorrow is the FINAL DAY....no exceptions! Gotta be tough on this one so please do not get offended. The response has been overwhelming and it was alot of uploading.

Thank you, I will have to agree with you on the all over tatoothing, yuck. My favorite of all time is a Dream catcher with a wolf in it. It was so pretty.

I guess I just don't like the idea of a tatoo at all, I'm sorry.

lolol, told my DS a tattoo would be OK as long as it is not a spider crawling up his neck, and could be covered with clothing if necessary. Though would never do one myself I realize it is the new/old fad with the kids again.

Thanks for today's additions to the Garden Party. And yes, we need a SHORT break before another QP exchange but I have learned so much from this one would love to do another. Like use gmail instead of windstream.

Thanks to everyone who is participating. The pages are wonderful. You all are going to be so glad that you participated if you love the kit and quickpages as much as I do.

This kit is just so much fun as I view the wonderful elements so pretty in their garden design. Love the journaling papers, the cute buttons, and all the other elements that add to the wonder of this kit. Love the wonderful designed edging on the lined journaling mats. TFS.

Aw, can't blame my sister Elaine for asking about another QP exchange -- it was me. Had such a blast doing this one, was anxious for another. But, I certainly realize and appreciate all the work involved. Thanks so much!!

Ha! Janni! Me too, I've thought of getting a tatto for quite some time now myself and I'm 48.
A delicate feminine one.
My thought is to get a fragile looking vine with tiny flowers that wraps around my ankle.
One of these days!! (well, maybe)
And that's why I still don't have one, that proverbial "maybe".

I laughed when I read your thoughts on your flower how it in time to come would end up being a long stemmed one ...LOL
Too funny!!

Thanks for the latest addition, nice looking as always!! ;)

Here I am a grown woman and still getting blamed for what my sister does. The only difference is, is that she fessed up. She was the one who made us peel all those potatoes.... LOL. But who can blame her. This kit is just so so pretty and we all had fun creating those quickpages. Thanks so much for all the hard work that went into this quickpage exchange and poor Diana having to upload it all.

Often when I use the word LOL, it's a bit of an exaggeration for something that really only made me smile. But, when reading about your thoughts on the "long stemmed rose" tattoo, you had me truly LOL! Anyways, thanks so much for the newest parts of Garden Party. I'm luvin it all. BTW, it's 6:52 here in Texas, and true to my procrastinating self, I am about to start to work on my QP for the exchange. Why do I ALWAYS wait till the last minute? Anyhoo, it will be sent off as soon as I get it done. :o)
