Wish it was a "Sunshine and Lollipops" Day...

oops...that's right, it is! Here is a preview of the elements included in this kit.

You all know how I hate doing LO's...not exactly the frame of mind for somebody who scraps! Actually, I don't hate doing them, I am just never pleased with how they come out! Most of my pics are pre-digital that I want to scrap and it is just such a hassle to scan them in, never sure how they are going to look after you scan them and it seems like the ones you want to scrap the most, scan the worst!

But, it is one of my resolutions to push on this LO thingy. And since I am failing miserably on my other resolution to get over my dislike of the phone, thought I should switch gears and give LO's a stab! Saw this challenge at Amy W's Blog and thought I would give it a try. She gives you a nice little collection of goodies to use and then you get even more goodies when you post your LO. Now I call that a win/win situation! Here is my submission, the eyelet heart, ribbon and Love word art are Amy's. Thanks, Amy for a wonderful challenge!

Thanks for all the prayers for my friend and her family. They are all safe and starting to calm down a bit. So much is involved in the aftermath! They have been told it will be 5-6 weeks before they can get back into their house. Although there was minimal structural damage, everything is coated with smoke and soot! A neighbor is going to take their dog which I am happy about, I really didn't think Miss Bonnie and Miss Lola would be too accepting! Such a scary thing! The fire marshall said that the only thing that saved the house from more damage and kept the fire from actually coming into the house more than it did was the thermal paned windows. Personally, I think the fire department's quick reaction time had tons to do with it and my hats are off to them! We have mostly volunteer departments all around us and the risks and time that these heroes take is amazing! Thank God there are people out there that give so much of themselves!

On to today's freebie....the frames! Don't you just love these little pots! I had so much fun making these and I love how they turned out! You get 4 lollipop flower pots and one ribbon frame!

Download no longer available...sorry!

Enjoy, and if you download, leave a little love. Would love to know what you all think!

NOTE: More questions on rar files but no email addies to answer them! Scrap files are generally too big to post as jpg, png, or psp images! A rar file is a compressed file just as a zip. I use rar because Winrar (Free)(see link under my banner) decompresses both types and I find it much easier to use. You need to have this program to decompress the file and then you get to the pngs and jpgs. Do a google!!!

Good news re: your friends...Our area is also about volunteer firefighters, so I second your comment...(quote)"the risks and time that these heroes take is amazing! Thank God there are people out there that give so much of themselves!"(unquote)

This kit is so cute! What a cute idea for frames.

Thank you for sharing.

Your layout is good too. I can understand not being satisfied with layouts. I tend to be my own hardest critic. :)

Thank you for another part to this sooo cute kit! I was reading the comments on unzipping .rar files and I wanted to say that I use Alzip. It's totaly free and unzips 36 different types of file formats. You can compress files and create self extracting files. You can also recover lost passwords and lots more. I found it at www.downloads.com....just search for Alzip 6.7 It's the best one that I have ever used. Hope this helps someone.

There's another good program (also free!) for extracting RAR files. It's called ExtractNow. I got it from the PCWorld magazine downloads website, but I'm sure if you Google it you can find it easily. They also have other great downloads available, like CCleaner, SpyBot, Ad-Aware, etc. All great to have!
