...more suntan lotion, please...

Hello, from sunny Fantasy Beach! Thought I would take a little time from relaxing in my beach chair while Officer Goodbody went to fetch me another pina colada and post today's goodie for you. DH is off on a fishing excursion but I just felt like working on a tan and relaxing, soaking up some warmth and getting just a little tipsy! I just couldn't take the cold weather anymore and told DH to take me away or lose me! He was a little hesitant about taking Officer Goodbody with us but.........................................

Actually, instead of saying "more suntan lotion, please" all I am saying is "can we turn the heat up a little", "come on pups, haven't you heard of speed pee-ing?", "we don't need milk that badly to have to go out in this cold for it! Use the instant creamer!" (little hard to do on cereal!) And, the only thing I am drinking is hot tea, and water to wash down the pain meds cuz my joints are killing me. Instead of wearing a bikini (very bad mental picture) I am in layers of assorted fleece and flannel (actually had on a pair of those mittens where you can open up the fingers so I could still use the computer) and the only thing being rubbed on is bengay! (Equally frightening mental picture! Kinda like Maxine does vacation! Our house is old (1800's) and lots of drafts. No matter how high we turn the heat up the corner where the computer is is like a wind tunnel!

DH just laughed and said, "well, I'll hate to lose you but...."

Actually, today is a balmy 21.2 degrees. Personally, year round 80 dgrees, low humidity and only rains at night would be my ideal. Anyone live there???

Today's goodies are some borders and ribbon slides. The center of the slides are clear so you can put words under them (maybe from the alpha that goes with this kit...forgot to mention that one was included!)

Download no longer available...sorry!
Have great day all!

You absolutely crack me up!!! I could just get the mental image of it all! I enjoy your blog so much, you'll never know how you can perk me up when I'm so down. I'm so sorry that you are hurting, will pray for warm weather for you fast! Oh yeah, if you find where the perfect weather is, please let me know. Down here in the South, all we have is humidity! It doesn't matter if it is 100+ or -20, we have humidity. I hate it. You ever tried to hang clothes outside to dry and they come in still damp after 5 hrs.outside? If you have, you've been in the South. Oh well, such is life (my life anyway).
How is Jess doing? Haven't had a report for a while.
Thank you so much for the beautiful kit, it just keeps getting better and better. I sure love it!!!
Gotta go, the clothes are through washing. Talk to ya tomorrow.
Hugs to ya!
P.S. The other day when I said I was posting first, I wasn't tripping. Right as I pushed "Publish Your Comment" another post came up. Boy, was my face red!

I didn't get to come here yesterday and when I read your blog today I thought to myself, boy this gal must be loaded. A home in the country and she can go on vacation just like that. But then I read on and saw you were just fantasizing like the rest of us. I feel bad for you. My last home was old like yours and no matter how high you turned up the heat, there were just cold spots throughout the house. The house I am living in now is newer than the last and we just have one room that is colder than the rest but if the heat is turned up at least it will warm up. Hope you feel better and your daughter is feeling better also. Thanks for todays piece.

Janni,
You can come to my house. We had a couple of days that it was 50! Just long enouph to melt some snow, get the cars dirty and refreeze.. We are back to 19.... guess what that does to roads and parking lots and ice jams... my poor baby (1993 Sable) She only loves me because we have a heated garage. I tell her everyday... all I need is 10 more years....I've done this for years..I didn't say she was smart...

You're making me cold just reading...lol..it's cold here in Florida too, not quite as bad as up there, but cold nevertheless.
Thanks for the sliderrrrrrs.
I'm thinking some of that Deep Heat rub would help you warm up.

The Sunshine & Lollipop kit for today. I continue to read your earlier posts & enjoy them tremendously. I know that I am working backwards, yet I am enjoying myself tremendously. Again, TFS.
