Where did yesterday go?
...it was over before I was ready for it to begin! Jess had a check up for her leg and the x-rays say everything is in place and then on the way back in the house her crutch got caught on the step and she stumbled putting full weight on her broken leg and she was a hurting unit all day.
My laundry had taken over the laundry room and was threatening to start a revolt on the rest of the house so I was fighting that battle for a good part of the day. I think I fought a pretty good battle but it is an on-going war. I am baffled at just how much laundry I have!
AND, the phone calls! I am registered with the place that is supposed to stop telemarketers and it did work for quite awhile so where did all these people that called yesterday, get our number? And, most were calling for my husband so I would ask if they wanted to leave a message. NO, there really isn't a message, thank you! WELL...obviously, if you called, you must have had a reason that was important enough to make your little fingers push the buttons. So, if you had something to say then, why is there no message? Obviously, not doing too well on my resolution to get over my dislikeof the phone!
I am sure you didn't come here to listen to my moaning so onto the reason... part 5! Here ya go... Download no longer available...sorry!
Lise, I would l love to give you the banner for a wallpaper but I only have it as a jpeg as it appears... don't know why, I usually have something in just about every phase of creation. Can you tell I get bored easy the way I keep changing things! With the way my house is, I can't really change my furniture around so I need an outlet...so you guys have to pay the price! LOL!

You can moan all you want.. I KNOW how you feel!!! Yet still, you find time to create such awesome treasures for us.. thank you so much!
hugs,
Lynne
I understand what you say re: the companies that ring...we have an unlisted number and yet a male from India called us trying to sell a mobile phone plan to us....apparently our previous provider passed on our information (probably sold it to them). Hubby was very upset and wanted to blast them, but what can you do...where do you start to complain.
Thanks for the pretty papers!! Poor Jess...I hope she didn't hurt that ankle any further! For those annoying phone calls, we have a service (for a small fee) from our phone co. called anonymous call rejection. If the caller blocks their identity, they get a message telling them to identify themselves and you have the option to reject the call. We get very little soliciting calls. Check it out with your local company, it really works great!
Thank you so very much for part 5
Sure hope your daughter's feeling better
thanks again. Lovely piece of the kit.
Oh poor Jess, I hope she feels better. Thanks for todays piece.
Another great addition. Thank you so much for sharing.
My daughter told me that if you hit pound a bunch of times it will fool the machine that is doing the auto calling. I just say hello twice and hang up, don't give them a chance to roll over to the person. I've only hung up on one person (my mum-in-law-opps). She uses a calling card and I didn't recognize the number on caller ID. If they catch me and ask for my hubby I tell them that he can't hear on the phone so don't bother to call back. When they ask if they can tell me about their great product I just say no and hang up quick. We don't get too many....
Thank you Janni for #5. :)
About the no calling thing... it expires after 3 years or so. You have to sign back up. I recently did this. Here is the URL: https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx
Good luck! As for me, if I don't recognize the number and/or am not expecting a call from some organization, I just don't answer the phone.
ThanK you so much Jan for the paper and the velum. Such a pretty kit.
Sorry to hear of your daughter's ankle. Hope the protection pixies are flying around her like mad to prevent any further injury.
Lise :)
