Back from the almost dead, I think!!

I am getting somewhat better...at least I have been able to sit long enough to get a kit finished up and uploaded!! Thank you all for being so patient! You have gone above and beyond!! Still going to therapy and some days are better than others. I have numerous herniated discs but I'll tell you, this was the worst one yet. Nothing seemed to ease the pain and I spent quite a bit of time just in tears. From dealing with chronic pain, I have a pretty high pain tolerance but this really knocked me on my ass! DH was just wonderful and took care of ALL the cooking and laundry and, bless him, he tried his best at cleaning although we slightly different standards in that department! LOL! I didn't complain though since I think that is one of the worst things about being laid up...when you start to feel better, you have a ton of catch-up to deal with. And during all of it, he painted 2 rooms and laid a new floor in my DS's old room. And remembered to get me flowers for our anniversary! Still wondering when that lightening bolt hit him...must have been doing to many pain pills and muscle relaxers to remember!

Anyway, I have a small something for you that I was working on before all this happened. A little something for Mother's Day. Hope you enjoy and I should have another kit for you in the next couple of days. For this kit, use the password you would use for MARCH. And my apologies for not having a sampler...things will get back to normal soon...I hope!!

Hi Janice, It's so nice to know you are starting to feel a little better. I've been checking in nearly every day to see if you were able to post how you were. I'm so sorry you are having to endure all that pain! Kudos to your wonderful husband for helping you so much. Sometimes men are so great to have around! LOL!!!
Don't worry about designing until you are much better. Your fans aren't going anywhere! Thanks for the kit you posted today. (((HUGS))) Linda

Janice! I am SO happy you're feeling better!!
There is a positive in every negative situation... I think one of the positives here is your high tolerance to pain. I cain't even imagine how bad it would be if you had a low tolerance for pain like I do!
Another positive is that you and your hubby are back together... it's good that you are able to call him 'wonderful' again after all the heartache.
But all in all... I'm really glad you're on the mend and back with us!
I was thinking of you yesterday when I was watching Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and heard Alan Jackson sing "Remember When". I don't think I'll ever hear that song without thinking of you! :D

Dear Janice

It is so good to hear from you, and although I know there is still a ways to go to total healing, it is a blessing that you are able to start feeling better. Bless your husband also. Don't rush back to designing until you really feel you can sit up as you do not want to aggravate those discs. Thank you for the Scraps of Love and hugs and love and blessings to you.
