Oh! My Goodness!

This month has just seemed to fly by and time has really gotten away from me! My apologies for being MIA...I really didn't think it had been so long!

I guess the break-in did more of a number on me than I thought since I have been going through a Fibro Flare for the past couple of weeks and it really knocked me on my ass! Now, don't go getting the obscenity police onto me for that...I am usually very good about bleeping myself but that is exactly where this flare sent me! LOL!

So. let's catch you up on Life with Jannidee....

The break-in....DD was cleaning up her room and came out and said..."I know this is a stupid question but did you take my IPod Shuffle?" "Excuse me? You are talking to a woman that had a hard time walking and listening to a walkman!" So we called the police and added it to the missing items. They called her yesterday and thought that they had found it at a pawn shop but it wasn't hers. They said that the kid's girlfriend had pawned it so that sounds like they know who did it although we don't know for sure. Things don't really happen like on TV where they keep you informed! Sleeping is becoming better since DD is home from vacation. The windows have gone back to being open during the day but at night they are still in the locked position. Thank goodness we have the windows that can be locked and still be open about 3 inches or I might have died from heat stroke!

DD had a great time in Bar Harbor with her boyfriend's family and they are all hinting about...when is the wedding? I have been wondering the same thing but have learned to keep my mouth shut! They are both starting to go back for their Master's and trying to save for a house so I think it will still be awhile before I will be trying to find something borrowed, something blue!

DS has been going through a very bad time with his ears. He has always had problems with them since birth and for awhile he was doing good but a couple of weeks ago he got an ear infection and even though he has been on antibiotics, it just doesn't want to clear up. He is in a panic since the last time this happened, the doctor started to talk about doing a mastoidectomy and that has him scared to death. His hearing has already been compromised from all the ear infections and scarring and I just wish I could make it better for him. Then he twisted his bad knee and couldn't put any weight on it and since that is the knee that is involved in the lawsuit, he has been going to the doctor for that to make sure that this is not going to be a long term concern.

Kids may grow up but we are still and will always be Moms and worry about them, right?

The Furbabies.....Help!!! I feel like I am running a kennel!!! Pepe IS a handful! As an un-neutered male he was making my Beagle's life miserable! I don't know why since Bogie is also a male (neutered) but it seems like every un-neutered male that meets him wants to hump him! And, the moosh just stands there and lets them and all the time he is looking at me like he is saying...Mom, make them stop! We did find out that one of our neighbors moved and just left this little guy to fend for himself so if they are the kind of person to do that, you know that they did not train him very well or pay too much attention to him. The poor little guy seems to have no clue as to what toys are or how to play. So, he has all this energy and no way to get rid of it! My Mom was exhausted trying to take care of him so I would give her a break and keep him with me but then that meant, I had to deal with him! He is so cute but considering his background and lack of training, I am not sure that she is going to be up to the task. Luckily, one of our neighbors has told us that if it doesn't work out, he knows several people that would love to have him and since this guy is a rescue-er, I would trust him to make sure he had a good home.

But, yesterday was "Let's all go to the Vet" day and Pepe was neutered and hopefully will calm down quite a bit now. My 2 dogs were due for their shots... let's just say, I made the vet's mortgage payment this month!! Lordy! Bogie ended up having a ruptured cyst on his butt that I hadn't noticed so now he is on antibiotics....and I thought my nursing career was behind me! And, apparently, his teeth need to be cleaned...wonder how much THAT is going to run? What happened to the days when you had a dog and all you had to do was get them a license and feed them????

Everything else is about the same so I guess that about catches you all up on my life!

NOW....many of you have asked about Anita and I guess things are getting a little heated with the comments on her blog. I don't know what to tell you because, I can't seem to get in touch with her either and I am getting VERY concerned. So, I do not have any answers for you and I will not make any judgements about my friend. She has been going through something that I would not wish on anyone and I for one, will give her all the time that she needs and keep her in my prayers.

So...........................................now that you have suffered through all my ramblings and you have been so patient in waiting for a new kit....how about I give you TWO to try to finish off this month?

Here is Night Blooms.....

Wow - 2 kits in one day, I will be spoiled now....lol. I certainly understand time flying by, especially when you aren't feeling well ! Both of the new kits are just grand ;-))

p.s. As to Anita, I am in total agreement with you that she just needs the time to deal with all of this,(but I am worried about her too). For every nasty comment over at Nana's Attic there are many, many more who are concerned for her and know she will be back sometime. If you do get ahold of her please pass along our Hugs & Best wishes ;-))+

That was a lot of reading! LOL So glad to hear that things are getting back to normal around the house. Glad you also gave us an update about Anita. I've been worried about her too but didn't want to bother her with emails because I already know she has a lot on her plate. Thanks for the new stuff and I hope you have a great day!

Absolutely fabulous! Hope you start to feel better soon, nothing worse than feeliing bad on top of everything else you had going on. The two kits are super..thank you. I tried commenting on 4shared also, but for some reason it was not co-operating.

I also am a member with Nana..and I agree for every negative comment there are 10 who are concerned as we all are. I hope you are able to contact her and let her know that we do understand and are waiting for her return if she is able...I think mainly folks just want to know she is doing okay. Prayers for you and for her..thanks again for the two lovely kits.

Good to see you! I've been watching... ;)
Glad things are getting a bit easier since the break in. And I hope they find your stuff and can return it to you.
As for kids, we do tend to worry don't we? sigh Well I'm sorry to hear your sons ear issues. I have had issues along those lines since I was small also. I send positive vibes.
And as far as Anita ... I check her blog but don't read her comments. I'm not sure what heated means but yeah, she's going through something I wouldn't wish on anyone and I will also give her the time she needs to gather her strength. Even if it means she never returns to the blogging world. It's her life for goodness sakes! I just wish we knew if she was ok...

Thank you for the samplers! Your kits are beautiful and appreciate your freebies! HUGS

Beautiful kits, Thanks so much Janni. As to Anita, I truly know what it is to lose someone you love. Time is the only medicine.
When you do reach her send her my prayers.

I haven't downloaded the kits yet, but am very much looking forward to doing so later tonight. Beautiful, as always, Janice! (:

Along with everyone else, please do give my regards to Anita when you hear from her. Losing a spouse of so many years has to be devastating, and if people cannot understand that, then they need to reevaluate how they look at life.

My heart and prayers go out to Anita, and my thanks to you for once again creating such lovely kits!

Thanks for the samplers! I especially like the Night Blooms frames and mats.

I'm sorry to hear about the burglary. Besides the loss of important items, the scary feelings of vulnerability are awful to deal with. It's no wonder you're in a flare. While stress certainly doesn't cause FMS as some have suggested, stress makes anything worse, even the common cold. Now as one fibromite to another, get off the computer and go rest! lol

After reading what you have gone through, all I can say is God Bless you and your family, and I hope your son feels better soon and will not have to have surgery, he has really had a rough time. Thank you for all your wonderful kits and I am glad to be a member - blessings to Anita also.

Love the new kits! I have a new granddaughter due any day now and the pink kit will be perfect for her scrapbook.
Good luck with your dogs, I swear some days they are worse than raising teenagers, LOL.

Both kits are beautiful; thanks so much! I hope your doggie will settle down and all the other ones with him so you can keep him.
I'm glad your DD is there now and you can sleep better at night. I pray your son won't have to have the surgery and that his ears will clear up. Linda

If you hear from Anita, please tell her she is loved and we all just want her to heal and take whatever time she needs to do that. Everyone grieves in their own time and own way. Her whole life was turned upside down and with no warning. She's such a dear lady and I can't believe people are leaving bad comments on her blog! Those comments will hurt Anita when she reads them and I hate to see her have more pain to deal with. If those folks can't say anything good, then they shouldn't say anything at all! She's on my mind and in my prayers. Linda

How spoiled do I feel....2 kits in one day. Thanks so much Janice. They are both just beautiful.

It is really worrisome that you haven't heard from Anita. I have been thinking of her a lot and been wondering if she is okay. It is terrible that somebody can even think to leave a negative comment, when they know what she is going through.
