Getting kind of bored...

...so I have been trying to think of something to get a collective flow of creative juices going!

Remember the quickpage exchange we did awhile back? So many of you submitted so many wonderful pages and it was so much fun! So I was thinking, May is almost over and that brings us to June, and that is the month of brides and weddings. It was suggested by a few of you that you would like to see a wedding kit so here's the scoop...if there are any brides to be out there that are getting married this year, send me an email. In the email include your colors, the date of the happy event and, also, please include a copy of your invitation or at the very least, your full name and your fiance's name....not that the whole kit will be personalized but I would like to include something special for you! Now, this can be a member getting married or a daughter, or granddaughter....sound like fun? I hope we have some "brides-to-be" out there! This would be a great way to get lots of pages to do a nice wedding scrap! I am sure that even if you don't have a wedding to scrap, members will be sure to find some nice pages that they can use! All eligible brides will have their names put in a hat and the name will be drawn randomly and that will determine the colors used in the kit.

So, come on! Anyone tying the knot? Taking the plunge? Let me know! Gotta do something to liven it up around here!

I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day! My kids took me out to dinner and we had a great time. With their schedules, we don't very ofter get the time to sit down together and spend any real time catching up with each other.
Started the therapy for my shoulder.....since it isn't hurting after getting the shot of cortisone, it seems a little tedious to have to go for therapy but I will behave and do what the doctor orders! Nurses (and retired nurses) make the worst patients! LOL!

So, I won't be around much tomorrow since I have therapy and then am taking my mother and aunt out for a belated Mother's Day!

OH! and there have been some comments about some of you waiting for me to open up memberships again???? They are open....just click Membership Information up there at the top and you can still join for April/May/June. I will open up the 6 month memberships sometime in June!

Have a great day everyone!!!!

First off, thanks for all your kits. I've tried leaving comments for you on 4Shared many times, but it doesn't seem to like me. Many of my LO's are from your kits.

I'm not getting married, but when I did, the colors were cream and navy, it was May 1st and tulips were my flowers of choice.

If you get another block, maybe you could create something around moving. In my entire life I've never lived ANYWHERE more than 4 years. It's something I could use!

Oh yeah! I get to be first. First, I think this sounds like great fun! Thanks for thinking of it. Hopefully, the boredom will be a thing of the past. My son Kyle and his fiance April will be getting married on June 14 (yikes! just a few weeks from now). Her bridesmaids will be wearing latte (kind of a champagne/light goldish brown) with silver beading. I don't have a scanner, so I can't send you the invitation, sorry. I hope you will consider their wedding as worthy of your talents. Thanks and blessings, Debbie

That's a really great contest, Janice! Not that I'm going to be a bride again, lol. But I do know what you mean about getting bored and needing some creative inspiration. One idea, if you're looking for some...maybe something graduation related? It always amazes me how quickly this time of year comes around. Have a blessed one, m'dear!

I loved PT when I went to it for my neck last year. I had THE best therapist he was wonderful. I still go back to the things he taught me when my neck gives me problems. What a great idea for new kits!

Janice, I am so glad the injection helped and I hope the PT helps even more.

I love your idea for a new kit. No weddings in our family other then our nieces on June 7th. She is using blue and brown. It seems to be really popular right now.

Our son and DIL used lavender, blue, and mauve and it was such a pretty wedding. I would love to find a kit in those colors, but it is hard to find one with all 3 colors.

I am sure whatever you design will be gorgeous as always. It will be fun to see what color theme wins.

I went for my first Epidural injection yesterday. The anesthesiologist told me there was less then a 20% chance it would help and too much risk of a wet tap where he could puncture the spinal cord so I left without the injection and feeling pretty down about it all. Such is life.
Big Hugs!

I understand about needing inspiration. My sister was married 16 years ago and I have YET to find a wedding kit that inspired me to scrap her photos!! Can you believe that?! Her wedding was in jewel tones...they were gorgeous! Everything I have seen has seemed to clash with the dresses instead of going with them. We have such beautiful photos...and I took them (yes that is amazing)! My niece was a mini bride and my nephew and son were the mini grooms. So darling! Good luck on the kit... could be quite a challenge.
