A Freebie for All!

Well, finally have ourselves dug out from the snow! Sure is pretty out there but I have to admit I was on pins and needles yesterday waiting for everyone to get home from work safely. It took my son about 2 hours to make a 20 minute drive and my daughter was let out early and her commute of 1 1/2 hours took he about 3! Guess we were lucky though since further north they got it worse! In my ideal world...all the roads and sidewalks would be heated! Wouldn't that be pretty? NO piles of dirty snow that just sit there until they are blocks of dirty ice? I love how it looks but sure hate the clean up and the dirtiness of it after.

My daughter is off today since she has laryngitis and since most of her job is on the phone..well, no sense being there. She is to go to NYC tomorrow. One of her friends at work is treating her and her boyfriend to Phantom of the Opera. He wanted to see it with his wife and thought it would be nice if they all went. She has seen it already but it really is worth seeing again! Supposed to be very cold and, of course, it always seems colder in the city with that wind between the buildings!

I still haven't started to download any of Christmas Around the World. Seems like every time I sit down to do it, I get an idea and that leads to designing and forgetting about the time! I think many of us are leaving it up for longer since the ice storms in the Midwest played havoc with the power! Of course, you know me....files are left up forever it seems!

I will be taking down the files for September this weekend so if you missed them, get them before they are gone forever! Gotta make room for the new ones!

Speaking of which, I have a "Freebie for Everyone!" Just a little Christmas Gift for all of you that come and visit here. My way of saying thanks for your support and your comments! I hope you enjoy!

Sorry, no longer available

Well, lots to do (and lots to download!) so I best be going! Have a great day everyone!

Thanks for the lovely Sugarplum Christmas. So cute with that title and those wonderful colors. As expected, your elements are extra special. Love the sheerness of those softly colored ribbons. The addition of the plaid background, rounds out an appropriate Christmas Holiday resource to scrap family-friends holiday photos. She will enjoy see it the 2nd time around. I saw the original Tony award show and the music just grabs you with emotion and awe. I also have the CD set, the score, along with a lovely sweatshirt. I am definitely a phantom fan. Andrew Lloyd Weber's greatest production. I also saw his special show on ice using his music here in Baltimore with the Olympic champion for that period. Love to Everyone. HUGS!!

Thank you for your sweet Christmas kit! I really like the pinks and green as a change in color scheme. The tags are so cute! Thank you for having most of them with a tie or ribbon to hang them with. I just noticed yesterday that I don't have a clue how to "hang" or attach tags too well.

I love "SugarPlum Christmas"...Thanks a million, Jannidear...;o)

Since we are approaching our 52nd Christmas together...and we had 5 children...I have a ton of great stories...I could keep you up all night or at least until "yer eyes fell out yer head"!!!

Our best Christmas celebrations now are when all our children & families can get home...we light our deceased daughter's baptismal candle as a sign of her presence.

I had a terrific hiding place for the presents that the kiddos never found...the large empty box that held the humidifier for the summer and was empty during the winter...;o) One year when they were older I made up clues to hunt for more clues and eventually find the old hiding place...bottle of champagne as a prize. Our oldest and most competitive won...;o) They couldn't believe there was a place in our house they hadn't ever checked!!! They thought we left the presents in a neighbors garage...hehehehehe.......

Baby Jesus always gave the best present...Santa gave another and we gave the rest...I agree the parents should get some credit...and...the children should know that sometimes we couldn't afford exactly what they wanted.

There was the Christmas 10 days after we moved into a new house...same house we are still in and hope to be carried out of someday...I went shopping for all presents on Christmas eve...got stuck going up a slippery hill...very late...had to knock on nearest door and call DH to pick me up...their kids woke up because they thought it was Santa knocking...no wrapping presents that year...just piles in different parts of the room...no one cared...;o)

(((BIGGG HUGGGS))) and a Blessed Christmas...;o)

I love the colors in this kit. As far as my oldest daughter is concerned, there is no other color besides pink. Christmas pictures can get tricky to scrap! Thank you!

Have a wonderful and blessed Christmas!

Wonderful kit. You always come up with the best.

They will LOVE the phantom.. they came up to Alaska for training, figuring that they would lose money. There were so many tickets sold that they were able to put 2 more shows. I said that I wouldn't go because it cost so much, after friends talked about it and they opened the extra dates, I bit the bullet and got tickets for my daughter and me. (dh didn't want to go... now he regrets it.) It was the most fabulous thing that I've ever seen. I would be the first one to get tickets.

Hi again Jannigirl...I hope you have gotten started (at least) on CATW. I would love to have a white Christmas, but I think we will just get wind and rain here. bleh! lol I just love this Christmas kit!! The colors are so non-traditional and refreshing! Makes me wanna go start baking some gingerbread cookies or sumpin!! hehe I absolutely love it!!! Thank you so much! I think I'm all caught up now and if I don't make it back before Christmas, I hope you have a very lovely Christmas!! At least you got your tree up sooner than I did...I just did mine today and only made it as far as the lights (but that's the hardest part anyway! lol) Love ya girl, happy holidays!! xox

I have heard about the snow storm going around over there and it looks awful, :( I hope you're all well and safe and warm. I looks like the weather is really cold there. :(

To be honest with you I haven't started downloading myself because of a lack of time and I hope to have time from now to the end of the year. Thankfully all designers have left the kits until the end of the month. :)

Many thanks for all the kits and freebies you have created for us during the year, it's been a huge work and it's been great to come around and visit the blog. Reading all your stories was enough to simply come here. :)

Thanks so much for the freebie and have a great Christmas celebrations. :)

Best wishes. :O)
