New Kit!

Before we get to the new kit....

For those of you who purchased the September Kit Package...Part 3 of Nature Walk is fixed, I think! For some reason that 4Shared account is acting funny and not holding the settings. If you have anymore trouble, please let me know.

I took some time and went to visit some friends and look what I found!

I just love Joanne's work and she is such a super lady! Take a few minutes and read her blog and leave her some love...sounds like she could use a hug with all that she is going through for her son! This kit is huge with such great elements and album pages to boot! Wonderful kit! Visit her HERE And, take a minute to visit her son's blog, Sammie's World and if you could send him a postcard to help him learn geography, that would be super!

DS had his first therapy yesterday and he said it really loosened his knee up so much and he feels so much better! Of course, I don't think it hurt that there were a couple of real cute therapists there! And, speaking of cute DD and her new "love" are still an item. LOL! I keep telling her that he is a 'keeper' and his mother is telling him the same thing about her! Did I tell you that she got her promotion at work? And, a nice raise to go along with it so she is floating on Cloud Nine right now.

I haven't seen Danny lately so I do not have an update on him but my friend is now on her third chemo and so far is not doing too bad. She is real tired the next day but then perks up pretty well. She gets a treatment every 2 weeks and hasn't missed a day of work yet! She really is an amazingly strong woman!

It is starting to get chilly here. I know I asked for an Indian Summer but we we getting real hot and humid here for awhile. Now, it is more like fall but with the lack of rain, I don't think we are going to have a very pretty fall. It has been rainy the past couple of days but the damage was already done. Such a shame because it is usually so pretty around us during the color change. Some of our trees are already bare and some have not changed yet at all.

Such a response for Diana's Aunt Verda! WOW! I would love to see the expression on her face! I had a great Grandmother that lived to 101 and a Grandmother that lived to 100 and, you are right, Grambie...the stories they could tell! I was too young to really appreciate my Great Grandmother but, I loved talking to my Gram and would sit for hours and just listen! Both were sharp right up to the end and went very quickly so they really did live very full lives. Longevity runs in my family...not sure that I really want to follow but then I am SO nosy and probably will just so I can still put my two cents worth in!

The new kit is called "Button Up". Lots of buttons and button holes! Subtle colors that I think will work well with lots of pics and you can use the buttons or not.

Sorry, my 3 months have past and I have been removed!

Hiya Jannigirl! Sorry I have not been around. I changed internet providers and have spent the last week or so changing everything over and also getting another computer in the house networked...what a nightmare that was! Then had router issues...it's been real fun! (not!)

Glad to hear all went well with your son's surgery! Sorry you are still having issues with the passwords, member accts, newsletter, etc. I don't understand why it's become such a hassle and I hope you are not getting discouraged!

Thank you for all the wonderful goodies you posted while I was gone. I think I'm all caught up now. Whew! Love the Button Up kit too! It's just lovely! Keep up the great work hun, you are fabulous!! xox

Hiya Jannidee,
Well we made it home..hon..now even more then ever a weekend at your cabin would go over even better. Both of us are tired and I have been sleeping..since yesterday, and sammy resting his newly blistered foot from all the walking, but like the little train, that said I think I can, I think I can, we both did it..
I was relieved to find out that all of my concerns were justified, and not that of an overprotective mother. The school had my son at a tested level of funtioning..as normal..when he is functioning at a 5 and 6 years of age level..and that is was impossible for him to complete the work..that was being given him, which is why he hated and fought us so many years to not have to go to school. I don't know if anyone can understand what I feel like..punishing my child and taking away his privelages..for not going to school bacause they were doing him wrong..but at least we have a place to move forward with that we can trust. We have to start right back to where he was preschool and start teaching at a preschool level...The Hospital asked my permission to contact the school board..about the results and how they got them and how it effected him.
Thank you ..for sending people my way, I have been loosing stats..on my blog..and I so want to share this kit for all the little stars in the world like Sammy..who truly do make a difference in the world..to all of us..
I am glad your boy did ok through his surgery..I love visiting..and catching up on the news..your blog is real.like the real world..our ups and downs..as it really happens in life..I am not sure when Sammy's surgery will happen, but he has been placed on the waiting list..but next time..I want his daddy to come with me..smiles..it is so much easier..with him there..bless you Jannidee for knowing..how much I have on my plate..and understanding that when I get a few minutes..for mom time..that I want to spend it sharing with others..hugs, dear sweet friend, Joanne

Thanks for this darling download that you have so appropriately named Buttons. Now, you really made my heart sing with joy when I saw the stitched bound buttonholes. I would use them when I was sewing for friends and a few customers. They have such a richness and adds that extra pop to any layout. Love the use of those buttonholes for so many element entrances. The ribbon with the buttonholes on the end along with that adorable buttoned border. You have written the magic word. "TEMPLATE." That alone makes up for all the problems I have had this weekend with loss of electricity within my home. I have a short somewhere and it took my TV and Internet out. It just came back up and I made it to your blog instantly. So I have one more stop to make and then will visit anyone else tomorrow. So wonderful with the plaids, checks, polka dots, and stripes. Anything and everything that you could wish for within a kit. You have definitely exceeded the mark. I love this membership. Leavin LUV! XOXOXO

Fantastic news about your friend and her treatment, and I also hope Dany is doing great. :) It's also great to know that your son is recovering well and therapy is "nice". LOL And with your daughter everything goes well, so surely you're thrill that for a moment everything seems to be falling into place and going well.:)

It's really nice to remind us about Joanne and her situation,I will take a look at her blog tomorrow as today is becoming too late for me and I was doing a last round before going to bed.:)

The new kit is beautiful and the buttons give a crafts look ideal for photos of that kind. :) It reminds me I need to finish my cross-stitch work LOL it's been on the working stage for quite some time. LOL

Thanks so much for the kit, and best wishes. :O)

Hey Jan, I know you haven't seen me for a little while. I am just trying to do a little catch up now. My Niece just got married Sunday and My Sister is here and my Sister in law also came in from out of state. Everyone is staying at my house, so my computer time has been a little restricted. My Sister is still here but has gone to bed so I thought I could catch up just a little. Thanks so much for another wonderful kit, it is so realistic, I love it.
