Some chat and a freebie, of course!

A bright and early morning to you (or at least it is where I am!) I certainly hope that it is going to be a more comfortable day today. Yesterday was cooler but the humidity was killer so I certainly did not feel like doing anything!

OMG! I love the beauty tips y'all are coming up with! Have you noticed that none of the tips are actually bought in the cosmetics/beauty aisle! The scariest part is some are bought in the hardware store! Pugs...you make me laugh! Every time I think of you now I think of you putting along on that tractor! But, I think I will pass on the orange juice cans! As for the Prep H...I have actually used that (bought a new tube...didn't think DH would appreciate me using his tube for a beauty treatment and the thought of using a tube for a beauty treatment that had already been used for the "prescribed use kind of grossed me out!) Someone had told me about it when my Dad passed away and my eyes were all but swollen shut from crying. It did work! Oh, wouldn't DH be so happy to know that I am telling the world he uses PrepH! Kim...I really think those strips would do a decent job cuz they sure do stick! Unfortunately, my hair is short and I would have a hard time hiding them! And, Epson Salts, Lizzerd! We are best buds! I use it all the time for soaking in a tub. Wonderful for easing aches and pains! But, Lisa....I think the paper bag is the most effective! LOL! Keep 'em coming...these are hilarious!

Maybe when we get enough tips...we should pick a night when we will all do some of the tips and then sit at the computer and gab about them!

Quite a few have asked here and have sent me emails asking if I am going to do a pink version of this.....Nope! I did this one as a counter part to My Guardian Angel so if you are looking for pink and you haven't downloaded that kit it is still available. Some have asked about the older kits that are no longer available. I may bring a couple of them back for a limited time, say 5 days and then remove them again. I can't leave them all up indefinitely since I already have 3 4shared accounts going and they are all about maxed out!

Keep the tut links coming, too! Some of you have sent in ones that I didn't have! That is the absolute best way to learn...doing tuts. I am continually finding stuff that I didn't know I could do with PSP...then when you add filters in on top of it....geez...you could spend hours just playing!

I have got a favor to ask....would someone like to design a blinkie for my blog? I don't really play with Animation Shoppe very much but would really like a blinkie that people could snag and use as a link to me if they would like. Also, if someone could tell me how to do the html for it...I would be forever in their debt! I have seen it on some blogger blogs that it is like a drop down but when it comes to html...I need a course for whatever is past "Dummies"!

I have changed my profile so that you can email me from there so if you do up a blinkie, let me know!

I want to thank you all for your comments and also for those that have posted my freebies on their blogs. Maria...thanks so much...neat idea you have there! I realize how long it takes searching and then listing them all, adding the links...I really do not know how the "freebie list" gals do it! And thanks for sending in our LO's! Tremendous work and now I need to get them added to the slideshow! I am amazed that some days I don't end up with pressure sores form sitting on my arse for so long at this computer!

Anyways.....baby boys....I just love them! My son was such a cutie and such a snuggle bunny when he was an infant. He started with chronic ear problems when he was 3 months old and unlike most, he didn't fuss and cry when he had a ear flare up. He got all snugly instead. I used to call the doctor and and the nurse would say, what is the problem?...is he pulling at his ears?....no....is he fussy?....no...is he crying?....is he running a temp?...no, he's quiet, sleepy and snugly! That's how I know he is having a problem! It took sometime before they realized I knew my kid better than they did! Poor kid, he has had 7 sets of tubes..still has them and he is 21! He doesn't know what it is to just jump into a pool without first putting in earplugs. But, he is the more affectionate of my kids...always ends the conversation with "I Love You" to all of us, even his sister. She, of course, just says "yea, me too!" And, I made him promise to always hold my hand since I think that holding a hand in yours is one of the best feelings there is. And to this day, he will still grab my hand if we are walking together! Such a sweetie!

Here is today's part of HIS kit then....the "quilts" (I have been secretly picking Anita's brain and learning quilting...shhhh! LMAO...don't I wish I could quilt for real like her!) and a 2 page Quickpage. Enjoy...keep cool (or warm..depending on where you are) and have a sparkling day!

Download no longer available...sorry!

I am so sad that I won't be online for a couple of weeks. I'm a harlot who steals your freebies and rarely comments. But I read and steal every day. (angel here) lol
You are so enjoyable to read. Even the 'drama' on your street is written about in such a way that it's like having a conversation with you. Thank you for putting yourself out there on the net for thieves like me to find. :)

I have just been reading the beauty comments from yesterday, and there are a few that even young people could use. LOL I didn't know what kind of use was giving to Prep H, but reading of it, I kinda imagine now. :)

And the thing about been snugly when you are sick is something I share with your son. When I have been very sick, I don't speak or do anything. I just want to go to be and make myself into a ball under the blankets. :)

The kit is very beautiful and the quilt are very nice. :) Thanks so much for sharing it with us. :)

Best wishes. :O)

I love the "quilts"! My beauty tip is to walk around the house and hang towels over all the mirrors - in my imagination I'm still young, slim, and cute so why ruin the illusion!!! I'm glad Hunky Fireman and Officer Goodbody are so nearsighted!

How wonderful to have a 21yr old son that still wants to hold his mama's hand!! I really think that shows what kind of mother you are Jann!! So sorry to hear about his ears though. My 2 1/2yr old grandson sounds just like your son. He is just getting over his 3rd ear infection, and we never knew he had any except for the fever & cuddliness!! He is hardly ever a cuddler except when he isn't feeling well.
Thank you once again for this wonderful kit!! I don't know if I can ever express to you just what your work means to me!! Quilts are something I love so much, so to see them in your work now is great!! I love Anita's work as well, so I can see why you would take her advice!!
Thank You, Thank You once again for everything you do here for us!! You are such a blessing to me!!!

It is so warming to hear you talk about your digital designing learning techniques. As it has been said, life is an ongoing learning experience & that process is what enlightens our lives. So bring on your fabulous quilts. Anita was into the knitting, & quilting thing long before she started digital designing. So for you to prosper so quickly in this field is final proof that it is an innate ability that only enriches more as you grow in grace day by day.

My great-grandson just went through his first surgery with the ear tubes, so my heart knows what you went through. And as your son is still today, I hope that my Jai will follow in his wonderful footsteps. So now we know, it will be an ongoing process. They also removed his adnoids and placed him on a respirator twice a day until his congestion healed.

So thanks for the lovely designs of your lovely quilts. Love the movement of your quilts within your design. As always your QPs just rocks. See you tomorrow. As always I leave with a smile, a better person indeed after talking with you today. HUGS!! XOXOXO
