New kit!

Thanks for all the well wishes. I am so thankful that no one was hurt and now it is just more of an inconvenience than anything. Ya know like getting your wallet stolen even if you had no money in...lots of phone calls and running around. It does surprise me that we were not given the insurance info at the accident but...

And, as far as the hose incident...I did over hear him telling a friend about his crazy wife trying to keep him from getting dehydrated so I guess he isn't too upset about it! I think he was just upset that I had control of the hose and he had no defense!

DRAMA! Explains why I spend so much time in PSP land! I can make things any color I want, any shape I want and if I don't like how it's going...DELETE! No Hassles! Oh, maybe a few aggravations but generally a nice little place to live! LMAO!

So many of you, when collecting My Guardian Angel, asked for a boy kit along the same lines. Although a lot of My Guardian Angel could be used for boys, I thought I would do something just a little more for "sweet" baby boys. Something soft and "cute", you know the way you got to dress them before the boy really took over and you had to get all primary and denim and dirt! No angel...at least not yet! Been trying to come up with a 'male" version of her but so far nothing makes me smile but I think you will like this kit anyway.

So, from bold and funky...we now go to soft and cuddly! Ready?

Download no longer available...sorry!

Also, so many have asked about getting started in digiscrapping...I am trying to organize the list of tuts that I have but in the meantime, if any of you have some advice to offer to newbies, feel free to post them in your comments or in the c-box. Remember, also, Google can help you find just about anything! (Even WINRAR to open the rar files...that age old question!) Many sites have tutorials. With so many programs out there that everyone is using for scrapping it is hard to steer people in the right direction unless you know what program they are using. Personally, I LOVE PSP (I uses PSPX) but then I have no experience with the other programs so have nothing to compare it to. So, come on...help some newbies out and post your favorite links for info and newbies, please say which program you are using!

So pretty! I just love your style and this paper is just perfect for all the baby pictures of my nephew. TY!

Thanks so much for the lovely papers. I just recently found your web site and think you are a very talented designer. I too use PSPX and find it to be a wonderful program. You are right, there are lots of tuts on the web...just do a search. For PSP i do PSP +Tutorials and get more than I can take advantage of.

What a lot of sets you have done while I have been away, you just get better each set you do...Is that possible???? You have been great since day one and your talent shows in your sets. I have missed popping in daily to see what you have on your blog and to read what's happening in your life, but I'm back now and look forward to many more enjoyable visits here. Boy have you had dramas of late!!!

Dear Friend,
I LOVE this kit-it will be great for my grandsons!!!! You are soooo talented! I'll e-mail you later on how my life has been. Believe me, it hasn't been anything like yours, just had to have a tooth cut out. Just like the song on HeeHaw- "if it weren't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all..." Anyway, God bless, still praying for you and yours!
Hugs to ya!

Such a precious kit; thank you!My best advice is to file as you go. If not, you end up with lots and lots of unopened kits and can't find what you want. If you have WINRAR (there's a free version and it stays free) you can just right click on 1 or more zip files and choose extract here. It will unzip them very quickly in that same folder. This is good for anyone to do if they have lots of zip files; it's so fast and easy. I just figured this out lately and it's saved me a lot of grief! I hope this tip helps someone.

I hope the links don't break in the post.

This is a totally 180 degrees from Camo, Lace & Bling, isn't it? It brings back those early days, holding a warm, cuddly baby, before they can talk back and demand you only dress them in demin and black. Great kit. Thank you!

p.s. This is Lori (or the flaming hair). I finally signed up for a blogger account.

The Scrappy Times said...

Oh, I forgot to mention, I like unzipthem all for unzipping both .rar and .zip files. When you ladies put together that wonderful Liberty Everlasting kit, I just plopped them all in one file and unzipped them all.

And excuse the typo in my last comment, it's supposed to say "of the flaming hair", not "or" as if you needed to choose. I HATE when I do that.

Thank you so much for the start of a really lovely kit.

You work so hard making freebies for us. Your hard work is realy appreciated.

Lots of luv

Thanks for this new "boy" kit. I just wanted to add that I use Winzip and it opens your .rar files with no problem.

So cute with your introduction to this fantastic kit. Oh my these paper packs are beyond imagination. Love the patterns that includes plaids with that first paper paper reminding me of fancy stitching that was on my Singer machine. The edging on the plain colored but with those lovely striads are the perfect companion to the plaids, etc. As the saying goes, when you design, you really DESIGNS. So cute. I can't wait to pull out my grandson's earlier photos & scan them into this fantastic kit. A WINNER FOR SURE

I especially would like a Step by step of how to do use a template. I just do not get it. And How do I get my google account to work? do I have to get a new one each time?
