A brief explanation...my computer is not working! I am posting from my Mom's but unfortunately I cannot get my computer to cooperate. DS is coming home this weekend and hopefully will figure out what is wrong but until then, will not be able to continue with My Sweet Baby Boy. The good news...I had just saved all of my kits to my ED so hopefully, if I lose stuff, I will still have my files on my ED!
See ya when I can! Now behave while I am gone!

Glad you're ok, thanks for posting from your mom's. With all that's been going on in your neighbourhood, I was begining to worry.
Hope you get your pc fixed up, and don't lose anything.

Well, I'm glad too that everything is OK with you! I was beginning to worry also~ you're never away that long without letting us know first. We're just like a bunch of moms here, having to know where you are at all times! LOL!!
I hope you get the PC up and running again, and hopefully you got everything to the ED just in case.

Hopefully DS can get you fixed up. It is amazing how knowledgable that generation is. EDs are wonderful. Hopefully yours preserved all of your beautiful work. Take care. We miss you.
I'm so glad to hear from you today since I was worried about you. You never go this long without a post so I knew something wasn't right. I hope you can get your puter fixed and don't lose any of your pictures and scrap kits. I bet you're going through 'computer withdrawl'! I know I would be.

So sorry about the computer problems. But your DS will surely take care of business when he returns. Glad to know everything else is okay. I am just checking on everyone to see how they are doing. With all the excitement that you did not need in your neighborhood, now the computer won't work as it should. That SUCKS!! This is just a short note to say Hi & let you know that I will try to stop by each evening if I can.
I am so sleepy because I am doing Oncology this week and all I do is sleep during the day while hooked up. I arrived home today after 5:15 P.M. They could not get the needle in and it took 9 tries before success. I only let them do it that many times because I need these meds. This group are all excellent with their needle insertion, special IV prior experience. My veins are extremely small and they move to make it worse. So now they are talking implant in chest or arm. I am asking everyone to think of me and say a few words, regardless of religious or non religious affilitations, during this week of treatment. My appt starts @ 8 a.m. tomorrow. See you soon.
I miss your smirky (I made this up)remarks that are definitely needed by me today. But I can easily envision and remember all your quirky (I did not make this one up) remarks that make me laugh and cry at the same time.

I've been checking in daily to see if you have been here. I was worried too. It's not like you not to be here. I'm glad it's mechanical and not physical stuff keeping you away. Hopefully all will be fixed this weekend when you son checks out the computer. I'm glad you were able to save your masterpieces on your ED.
I'll try to behave only cuz you asked us to. It's hard though especially since I'm basically bad..<=o)
Thanks for the note. Maybe you can get a much needed rest while your computer is down. Just don't go into withdrawel. I know I almost do when my kicks me off. Take care and have a fun holiday.

I'm here late for me..very late..just checking one of my favorite blogs and see your puter is not feeling well. I am so very sorry, and it must be frustrateing for you. Hope it gets healed up soon, and your back here playing. We so enjoy your playtime. MMMM...do you think the computer "partied" a bit to much. Now that wild party you had could have been the cause. ya think???

Glad to hear that nothing happened. :) I thought it was strange that you were not posting this long, but being Summer and having you said you were going to the fireworks and have prepared a picnic and all that, I just thought you were taken a nice break. :)

Sorry about grambie, I know what she talks about regarding the problems with the veins. My mom had the same problem, they seemed to hide and whenever she needed to make a blood test it was terrible for her. I also seem to have inherited that but in my case it helps that I'm quite skinny so they have little place to hide. Having that in her circumstances has to make things even worse, so I hope the best of her and that the new treatment is at least more comfortable. I know you can't be comfortable when having chemotherapy, but I hope it's some kind of improvement.

you poor dear. So sorry you are having puter problems. I hope you are able to get it fixed and that nothing has been lost. All that gorgeous work that you've done for us all I really feel for you at this time.

Gosh, sorry to hear about your puter (been there, done that!) but so glad to hear you are ok. Been worried about you. My visit with my sister Elaine is over and she has gone home and I miss her so much! But, with the computer and our love of scrapping, we are in touch daily. Looking forward to seeing you back soon and hope the computer news is good.
Is Mercury in retrograde or something? I'm also having computer problems (we're going to have to send in the computer to be fixed), luckily my husband *just* replaced my hard drive this weekend, so we put the old one back in and I can hook the new (updated) one up to his computer and not get too behind. Good luck on getting your computer fixed!
Oh, we do love our computers and how frustrating it is when something happens. Hope you get it fixed quite quickly as withdrawal would not be easy for our scrapping addiction.

Jannigirl, if it's not one thing it's another, isn't it? I really love this new kit you are doing, My Sweet Baby Boy! I am sorry I am not here more often. I have not been here in some time as you have probably noticed @ my lack of leaving comments. You mentioned your son has ear troubles (and he sounds like such a sweetheart, too!), well I been having problems with swimmers ear in just my left ear. So, that is why I have not been here! bleh!
Love your comment about the duct tape and hardware store beauty aids. hehe You so crack me up! I love reading your blog, even if I have to go back and read a long page of it at once. I swear, after this ear clears up I am going to use my ear plug!! Funny how I never have probs with my right ear and never had ANY probs with swimmers ear before last summer! HAHA!
Oh, and thank you for not taking down the Prince and Princess charms! I am sooooo very thankful that I made it in time to get them because I LOVE THEM! hehe
