Doing the Happy Dance!!

I love when you guys get excited about a kit...of course, then I worry that you won't be disappointed and not like it after I get you all excited but...I think this one is cute enough not to disappoint!

Geez...it has been so quiet around here it is almost...boring! NOT! I am getting some sorting out done and throwing out. Yep..back in that mood! I still have clothes that I had when I was working (about6 years ago) that I never wear. One because, I don't need to and second because (and I am not complaining about this part) they are too big. So, I went through all of them yesterday and boxed them all up and got rid of them. Does someone want to tell me why on one hand that feels so good and the other, it's like saying goodbye to a part of your life? I get to attached to THINGS! They say there are two kinds of clutter, Memory Clutter and I Might Need This Some Day Clutter. Okay, then why do I have to suffer from BOTH kinds?

My DD received a package yesterday form one of her college roommates. There were four of them that lived together and this girl sent the same package to all of them. When in school, they would have "Beauty Night" every couple of weeks and, as my DH said...kinda hard to be grumpy or sad when you are sitting there with goop all over your face and cotton between your toes! So, in this box was a Bright pink bath towel, all kinds of beauty aides (all pink) pink shampoo, conditioner, mask, lotion, pink scrubby, pink nail polish and a beautiful thick bath wrap with their names embroidered on it in bright pink. Enclosed was a note about getting together for a beauty night! Such a nice idea! She was so excited. She has gotten together with them all since graduating but she is more excited about this! Geez...wish I had gotten a box but wait...I still have that Oil of Olay Sample that I could have a beauty night with! (along with the bondo, duct tape, epoxy.....anybody got any other beauty secrets for us old ladies?)
So, onto My Sweet Baby Boy...today I have frames and a quickpage for you. Hope you enjoy!

Download no longer available...sorry!

Hi hon, I wanted to let you know that I have been cheating. I have been coming here and reading your blog, just haven't felt like talking at all. I'm sorry that you have been going through so much. Life stinks sometimes huh. I also read that you wanted us to post places for scrapping tuts. A good source that I have found but haven't felt like taking advantage of is:
http://www.ellies-treasures.com/etstart/etstart.html#PSE

She has links for tuts for all kinds of programs and to 100's of blogs as well.

Anyways, I just wanted to let you know how beautiful this set is.

Love ya, Betty

Oh Janni, you kill me, lol, I have the same problem, except I have clothing from before I met my hubby, so that's 20 years now, lol. Difference is I can't afford new stuff, so I keep the old stuff, incase I need something nice to wear, lol, that and I suffer the same thing as you, although my DH says it's just cuz I'm a pack rat, lol.
Thanks again for another wonderful kit, I love them all.
Hugs, Lisa

Where was I yesterday? I think I got here too early and never got a chance to come back. What a nice surprise and such a beautiful kit. I have three sons and 6 grandsons so this is perfect for all those baby pix. Thanks a bunch.
p.s. Enjoying the heck out of my sister Elaine's visit. We are having a blast.

Now Janni, in with the new-out with the old!! Go girl knowing that you have undergone a weight loss. With me its the other way around. LOL. I love the way your DH explained you & the water hose, so cute. I just had to laugh. The two of you are perfect for each other. I don't know how I missed yesterday's post. I visited you but it was not listed. No big deal, I will just do it next.

Now, this little boy kit is so soft as you said in its color & textures. Love the oval shapes of the frames along with your fabulous quilts within the QPs. I am hooked on quilts because of your fabulous designs. The ruffles add the softness to the kit without overwhelming the male aspect. Including a lace edging the square frames also continues your soft & cuddly theme. I Love It! Leavin LUV! XOXOXO

Beauty tips? Well, I've heard that Preparation H is good for a quick face (eye?) lift but (*LOL* because I'm too big a coward to smear stuff made for, errr, uhhhh, the opposite end all around my eyes)I don't know if it really works...or even if it's safe.

Be that as it may ;) I sure do like your designs. I've never been disappointed in anything I've downloaded from you! Thank you so very much :)

When is the beauty night? May I come, please, please, pretty please!!!!!!! I will bring Crazy glue-it works wonders cause it HOLDS! Also, I will bring orange juice cans to roll up the ol', um, saggy ,um mammory thingys. Okay, boobs. If you roll them up towards the sky, they can be perky-not. Anyways, please let me know as I need to service the John Deere. Can't you just see it now- an OLD fat woman in her nightgown, curlers, and old worn out houseshoes riding her John Deere up to Jannidee's for a night of beauty (Preperation H, epoxy, Crazy glue, and orange juice cans in a brown paper bag tied on her back)!!!! Talk about nightmares!!
Anyhoo, the kit is soooooo cute and lovable-perfect for my lovable grandsons!!!
Hugs to ya!

LOL - I love coming to your blog - makes me realize I'm not alone! I still have clothing from when I first met my husband over 25 years ago!!! Of course most don't fit because I went the other way and went up in size! Most I use for lounging or pj's lol! Just can't bear to part with them if they're still usable - how silly is that!!

Here's a beauty tip for I found a website once - you know those clear nasal strips you can get to help you breathe easier when you sleep - well apparently they can also be used to give you a mini face lift if you stick them in the right spots and hide them behind your ears and in your hair line - lol!! Hmmm maybe not so funny after all - I could use a lift here and there!!

Love this new kit - thank you so much!!

Hugs
Kimberly

Now for the 'drama' in your life, well it is just part of living, and think how boring it would be without it...LOL I know boring is not always a bad thing, now is it?...LOL

Totally awesome new kit. Thanks for your incredible talents and sharing so generously with all!

I love the kit great for the pictures of my grandson. I had to laugh when I read your story on your van and trailer. I know it's not funny but a real big pain to deal with. But a couple of months ago I had my van parked on Main St and it got hit by a house! They were moving a modular through town and it didn't quite make it. Needless to say I no longer park on Main St!

I don't know why you are so surprised when we get so excited about a new kit. Yours are always wonderful.

As far as beauty creams go, at my age, I need to find a manufacturer who will send me a 50 gallon drum of it so I can just soak my whole body every night.

Thanks, this is a beautiful kit.

You're not alone with saving things...I've got some very old clothes that don't fit but can't bear to part with them. I just keep thinking that maybe someday I'll be that size again and can wear them. I know it's crazy and I should purge them all!
This kit is just amazing! Just when I think they can't get any better, they do! How hard would it be to recolor some of this one in pink so it could be used for a girl, too? Could you think about it, pretty please? Since I don't know anything about designing, I have no idea how hard it is to make something in a different color. (((HUGS))) Linda

Disappointed....are you kidding??? Your designs are amazing and no way would anyone be disappointed with them!! Thanks so much for another wonderful kit!! As far as beauty tips go, I've tried the bondo, super glue and duct tape....the best thing that works for me at my age is the old bag over the head. that hids a multitude of sins!!!

I have 3 generations of "stuff" to clean up!My Grandmother's her sister and sister in law, my mother, and mine. I heard from a TV show that you should take pictures of things that bring back memories and then get rid of them. That way they don't take up too much room LoL! Thanks again for the lovely kit.
