Rainy Monday

Did you have a good weekend? I tried to take it easy but seems like I did a lot more than I planned! DH dug the holes for the roses and got those hostas out of the way for me...broke a shovel trying to do it and wasn't too happy but..he got over it. He also hung some planters and dug a hole for the hibiscus. Then I sent him back to the dog house....LOL! Don't know how much longer I can keep getting this kind of work out of him! Maybe at this point it is habit and it will just continue on it's own! One can only wish!

Then the whole fam-damily went out to dinner and ate more than we should. Stopped over at my brother's condo to see the renovations my DH has been helping him with. Well, not sure who is helping who since my brother is not the most handy guy around when it comes to home renovation...he has the worst luck of anyone I know when he starts a project but so far it looks real nice!

Becky...your nursery is right. When the hostas first start to come up is by far the best time to split and transplant. You can do it anytime but it is so much harder since their stems and leaves have gotten so big that is is hard to separate them. Plus they look lousy but they will survive and come back great the next year. Their roots become almost one solid ball but you can just hack through them with a shovel. Be careful though...don't be a idiot like me, wearing flip flops and missed the root ball and hit my foot! Luckily, didn't break the skin but sure gave myself a heck of a bruise on the top of my foot! dumb..too dumb to get any sympathy for it!

Sandra...my DH is a painter so painting should NOT be a problem...right! Like the mechanics wife driving a clunker...don't want to tell you who does the bulk of the painting in our house! AND, lemon peel? Just how do you do that cuz I will definitely try it!

Grambie...glad you got your computer and sorry you had such a bad week with pain. Gentle hugs coming your way!

Today is rainy so I am trying to get some housework done...get a little behind this time of year when I would rather be outside! So, going to keep this short because as we know I can very easily be lured away from housework!

Today is another mix of stuffies! You get more than what is in the preview!

Download no longer available...sorry!

I love prett flowers but I have such a black thumb! I do have some Iris and Roses but they don't require much work. That is good because I think I have a 'black thumb' anything I plant has to get tough or die.

Rainy Monday for you today as I watch the sun shine so brightly through my bedroom window. It reflects my warmest feelingss. So although it is raining outside, your beauty & family life will always be a beacon shining through. Love to hear about your gardening that I was never able to do. When plants see me, they just fall out LOL. Actually allergies kept me from digging in the dirt & flowers. So love to read & view your beautiful plants.

Love the goodies as usual. I just set up my favorites & my special Designer folder has 2 special blogs listed. Who are ying & yang of Designers. No more will be added to this folder. The rest goes into blogs, with one exception my templates. Love the doodle stars with their happy pattern complemented by your fantastic angels. Your angels remind me so often of my 1st scrap instructor similar style @ SBB, Katherine Balint. Leaving LUV!!!

Again beautiful. I intend to use this kit as soon as I finish with my mini book. My husband calls my baby "angel" so this is perfect

Rainy Monday for you and has been rainy weekend for me. I swear this rain has been going on for close to 3 weeks now. For a place that never gets much rain, we sure have gotten our share of it and I think some that might belong to someone else as well. I do know that we have had more rain this past 3 weeks than we have had in about 10 years. I am curious, how is Danny doing? Much Luv Stormy

Hi Jan, thanks for todays goodies. My weekend? Well I am still trying to get the pool water balanced. I think it is time to take my water to the pool place to have it tested so they can tell me exactly what i need to do. I also went to my granddaughters dance recital. It really was so cute, my grandaughter is 3. So you know half of them just stood there with stage fright and some of them were tapping their foot while the other that weren't just standing there were waving their arms. lol

Janni, I was wondering if we are allowed to colour anything in your Guardian Angel Kit. For example, the frames, I wanted to know if I could make one a lilac/purple as I have 4 daughters, and wanted to have 4 different colours, but only if it's ok with you.
Hugs, Lisa

Jannigirl, how in the world do you come up with such cutie pie stuff?? I just love it -- THANK YOU once again. The lemon peel I had wondered myself and they mentioned it on an infomercial the other night...you take the lemon peel and lay it across your forehead...just a couple peels about an inch wide, then you wrap a bandana or stretchy headband over it to keep it in place. It is supposed to relieve your headache within just about 30-45mins. I get some migraines that I can't get rid of all day, so I'm real excited about trying it myself!! I do hope it helps and if you get a headache before me, let me know and I will you. hehe 8-)

I'm a little behind, we have been packing all week as we are moving on Saturday into a new house! *jumps up and down with joy* I had to go do a search for hostas and see what those were! Ok shuga, I have to go get busy...I'm going to TRY and get the rest of the packing done today so I can play on the internet tomorrow before I lose it for a few days. :b You take care and if'n you don't hear from me for a few days you know why. Take care hun!!

Oh, one more thing I been meaning to ask you... Have you heard anything about Danny? Is he still progressing? Also, what is the update on those (I'll be nice in your blog and say 'jerks') that attacked him??? I continue to pray for him and his family. =)
