Hump Day...and having trouble getting over the hump!

Today is rainy and damp and after all my driving yesterday, it is hard to get this old butt moving. Need to get to the store but I keep finding a zillion things to do instead of going! Spent 4 hours in the car yesterday since I had to pick my DD up from work and then drive her to get her car from the shop and by the time I got home, I felt like I would never stand upright again! Too much time in a sitting position! But, the upside, we got A LOT of quality bonding time in since we were stuck in traffic for so long! I used to do this same commute and I don't envy her at all! Good thing she loves her job or I think this commute would really be getting to her. And good thing she drives a little VW or the gas would just eat up her paycheck. Driving my car would cost about $20 a day in gas! Geez!

Not much else going on...no news on Danny. His aunt and uncle live next door to us and are keeping us informed. He really isn't up to visitors and is still in so much pain but making little improvements. My friend goes for her surgery on Tuesday and so far the doctors are very optimistic...let's hope that continues.

So quieting down on the home front, thank goodness!

Got some projects in the works that I need to get moving on...so little motivation lately. Need to become a little more disciplined and less ADHD! I think I finished one of the projects last night and need to get that sent off. Need to get working on the LO's for my cousin's husband's birthday and they are really stumping me! But, enough about me!

I have gotten some wonderful emails and comments lately and I thank you so much! Mostly about the Guardian Angel Kit. It amazes me that just a little playing around seeing if I could replicate what I used to do painting could turn into something that evidently touched so many people! I guess it goes to show it is the little things in life that have a large impact. I love hearing your stories and how you will use the kits, what memories they bring back for you...that is what scrapping is all about. So I thank you!

Now on to Summery Love...today I have the papers for you.
Download no longer available...sorry!

can anyone help, got up this morning turned on my computer and external harddrive only to discover that my hd is broken and all my kits that have been a life saver for me over the past year are gone.also all my pages of my son whom we lost last may are also gone.these pages can be redone as i can rescan the photos but i have lost all my the kits so kindly given.phoned seagate the makers of the harddrive which is only six months old but they said it would cost in the region of 500 to 1300 pounds to retreive this data, which i cannot afford, any kits or links to freebies would be appreciated.

will be back tomorrow as usual, exhausted from all the upset and phone calls today, will take me a very long time to redo all the pages of my son,i hope you dont mind me asking for help but when digiscrapping is the only thing keeping me sane at the moment and then you lose everything, you can imagine how i feel.ps a note to everyone, dont be as silly as me only saving files once, back up everything so that you dont end up losing everything like me.

luv n hugs

Wow, another great kit you are giving to us. I find myself using your designs more and more. Thank you so much for making us look so good in the galleries.

I really love your Guardian Angel Kit and have done a couple of LOs with it. Little did I know when I downloaded it that I would be using it to scrap a memorial page for my sweet old kitty, Gertrude Annette, age 22. But, I was so glad I had it. Here is my page for her: "Darling Companion"

You still get a whole lot done even when you're struggling over hump day! With so much going on around you I truly 'get' the feeling that you just want something new to zing you 'back'! I'm so glad that you did get to share the bg papers for this kit with us! I'm not a qp person usually (because I work in rectangles) so now I'll be making sure to get the rest of this adorable kit! Thanks so much for sharing!
