I'm stuffed...

...we just got home from a Chinese Buffet and in an effort to make sure we got our money's worth, I ate too much! DS came home since he had a doctor's appointment late this afternoon and he had to go back tonight since he has a Saturday class so we decided to go out for supper.

DS injured his knee at his first apartment because the landlord was under the assumption that with ice and snow, if God put it there, let God take it away. Well, that and the addition of no lighting in the parking lot, doesn't make for safe conditions in the winter and he fell and tore his knee up. The insurance company is still dragging their feet with the claim after 2 1/2 years! Anyway, it is still bothering him and the MD feels that he has a torn cartilage since after all this time it is still hurting. So, on his next semester break he will arthroscopic surgery and really see what is going on. His MRI shows nothing but they are not fool proof so "a look-see" is needed so that we can figure out what we are going to do with this claim.

It is freezing today! About 53 degrees...what is up with this weather! Two days ago it is almost 100 and humid and today is cold and rainy! Go figure! I know I was asking for cooler weather so I suppose I got what I asked for! LOL!

Today's download is the alpha and some overlays. I love overlays since they can double your background papers just by adding them to what you already have. These are border overlays so you can also re-size and use for framing. You get two versions of the apha...one is a sticker and the other is a rub-on.

Again, 2 separate downloads. Trying to keep them reasonably small for those on dial-up so make sure you get both of them.

Sorry...no longer available

Yes it was cold here today, in the low 60's. It's now 58 degrees. I had my 2 grandaughters this week as the daycare was closed, so boy am I glad its friday. I love them to death but 9 hours a day for 5 days is a little tiring. Love everything I see so far in this school dayz kit Jan, thanks so much.

Ohhh send that rain and cool weather down here to Florida. We need the coolness, the rain you can keep...lol. I'm playing catch up this morning. I downloaded the Quick Pages the first day, and made a quick layout with the one with the bus on it. I posted it on my blog. I left you a message in the "BOX", but I don't know if you saw it, it was early in the morning because I had to go to work. Thanks for all the parts of this kit so far Janni, I do love that bus *grin* I'm downloading the second part of the papers as I type this. Oh, I almost forgot, I've got a blinkie for ya. I'm putting it into animation shop as soon as I get finished with this download and comment. *Hugs*

I tore cartilidge in my knee in college too. In my case I tripped over a drunk that was passed out down the hall from my room. I had already taken out my contact lenses and was too vain to walk out into the common area to get a diet coke with my glasses on, so I took them off, figuring how hard could it be to find the vending machine at 2 in the morning? And so I didn't see the moron until I'd fallen over him. Oh the price of vanity. I never did have surgery, although they recommended it. I was too afraid of going under the knife, or the laser, or whatever it was. I'm a chicken. The only reason they even got an IV in my arm when I had my four babies is they told me I couldn't have an epidural without one. lol

Anyway, back to the real reason I'm rambling on your blog, thanks for this latest, adorable addition to the Skool Dayz kit. I just love it.

This kit is getting better and better. Thanks bunches.
Wow it's like 105 here. Where are you? I don't know if I'd want it to be in the 50s but right now it is really TOO DARN hot here. I do NOT do very well in the heat.
Tell your son good luck with his knee.

Such a fancy download with all the lovely overlays and alphas. There is so many fun objects in this download that they can go beyond the earlier grades in school. The note books and papers will always have a place in any school page scrap. The combination of rulers and tape measure just made me lol. It is a true uplifter with everything so perfectly displayed.

I had the same problem with my MRI. It was inclusive. My Orthopedic specialist showed me the writing. Then they did an orthoscope just like your sons. They wanted to know how could I walk. Everything was so inflamed it looked like a red cotton candy machine when they had to shave the infection off. The cartiladge was practically nil, no protection between the bones. So MRIs are not infallible. Thanksful that DS's Doctor is aware of that and knows the next step. The scope will reveal it all for him. Tell him that this should really show the defects to the insurance company. Give DS and everyone else my love and affection. It is 10:51 and time to prepare for my early trip in the morning. They moved the time up to 8 a.m. Hopefully, I will be able to visit you tomorrow late. Leavin LUV! XOXOXO
